KIDS SURF LESSONS
Arch your back, hold on & eyes open! Specialist lessons for kids from 5 to 12 years old built around fun, safety & improving confidence in the water
Start them early
Introducing your children to the ocean environment early can pay dividends with their confidence and water safety awareness as they grow up. Surf lessons are taken in small groups with no larger than a 4 to 1 student to coach ratio.
Your kid's surf session
We'll pick you up from the Lagos area at a time agreed with you the night before. There's normally a vast difference in children's skills and confidence depending if they have been introduced to any kind of watersports before. Our coaching team takes all previous experience, skill level & confidence into account and with a 4:1 ratio, attention and safety are always paramount.
Where we'll go
For running kids surf lessons we're spoilt for choice here in the Western Algarve with a south and west coast to choose from depending on conditions.
The Algarve has some of the most consistent surf all year and with a variety of beaches to choose from, almost every day is a surf day!
Our team
With a combined experience of over 40 years of teaching and coaching all levels of surfers, we're a team of ocean fanatics, explorers, and free thinkers. We have a strong mutual understanding of the power of surfing for both mental and physical well-being and its ability to connect like-minded people from all over the world. We're here to facilitate that experience, ensuring you grow as a surfer while having fun in a safe environment.
QUICK FACTS
- Organizing equipment, traveling to the surf spot and a theory and water session normally take around 4 hours to complete

A legal guardian 18 years and above must also attend the lesson

Parents/guardians may follow us to the beach with their children in their own transport if they would like

All children taking part in lessons need to be able to swim at least 25m

If there is not a minimum number of 3 children to run the session we recommend a one to one, or one to two coaching session with our private lessons
