COME IN & MEET
Our packages run from Saturday to Saturday
We know surf holidays are the best they can be when there’s a solid start and finish date to the groups trip for the week. You can arrive a day earlier (Friday) and leave a day later (Sunday) if there’s flight options for these days that are more convenient for you.
We’re serious about surf coaching!
Don’t worry you’re not signing yourself up for a week of 6am starts and intensive paddling drills! We just want to provide the best possible weeks coaching you’ll ever receive, and that includes highly qualified and dedicated surf coaches, a tailored surf coaching plan for the week just for you, plenty of video coaching and a variety of modern techniques to make you a better and more knowledgeable surfer.

More info & pictures on our new lodge plus any of our current deals can be found by following us on Facebook & Instagram.
What’s included and pricing

We know booking holidays can be tricky and it’s sometimes nice to speak to a real person. 7 days a week from 9am-5pm we have a knowledgeable team available if you need to chat with us at any point.
The Tiny Whale Team
We're a team of surf lovers, ocean fanatics, explorers and free thinkers. We have a strong mutual understanding of the power of surfing for both mental and physical well-being and its ability to connect like-minded people from all over the world. We're here to facilitate that experience, ensuring you grow as a surfer and do so in an environment that allows you to completely switch off, have fun and relax.
Tariq lived in Newquay for 16 years before moving to Portugal, discovering his passion for surfing at the age of 15. He's now a fully qualified ISA level 2 coach and holds a firm belief that surfing is all about having fun. His favourite wave is at Jeffrey's Bay in South Africa and when not surfing enjoys honing his skills as a self-professed gourmet burger chef.
Seb has been surfing since the age of 13, with a large proportion of that time being spent on the waves down in the Algarve, having lived here for over 6 years. He's a surfer of all board types and believes that board selection should quite simply "suit the waves you're surfing". Given a push, he'd probably pick a fishtail though. Outside of surfing Sebs other passion is playing his guitar.
Rhys grew up and learned to surf in Wales, having been quote "forced into icy waters from a young age!". He's now been enjoying the sunnier shores of the Algarve for the last 5 years, which with tons of great surf spots brings plenty of opportunity for quieter waves. Big fan of post surf trips to the local bakery.
Miri is a certified Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®) with over 7 years teaching experience and regularly attends continued teacher training workshops all over the world. As a surfer, she has first hand experience of the physical benefits of adding yoga to your surfing and uses both traditional and modern perspectives to help relax the body after a day in the ocean.
Being Swiss you might expect Jess's number 1 sport to be skiing, you'd be wrong, it is in-fact kite surfing. We're not too sure how that happened but we'll put it down to her general love of the ocean and outdoors. Now surfing regularly and enjoying every minute. Famously once caught (by Tariq) saying "I'm not competitive, but I will beat you". We'll let you be the judge.
Flo is definitely the linguist of the group speaking three languages fluently (German, English and Spanish), which it turns out is a very handy skill for a bookings manager! He grew up in Germany but has spent large periods of his life living in Spain and Portugal so is definitely well traveled. When he's not surfing he loves to spearfish, skateboard and hang out with his dogs Sasha and Jazz.
