CHANGING THE WAY WE DO THINGS, NO MATTER HOW SMALL
During the nine years that we've been open, the worlds more rapidly been moving towards more sustainable practices. We're moving to tread more lightly and whilst we recognize we're a small drop in the ocean and far from perfect, we want to stand up and make the small changes we can.
WE PLANT TREES
Recognized by science, planting trees is one of the best things we can do to aim towards being a carbon neutral species. We've teamed up with Ecolgi, and they offer a simple way to donate to plant and grow your own forest throughout locations all over the world. We're at the start of our journey with them, but we're onboard with their approach and hope to see our forest flourish and grow over the years to come.
MEATLESS MEALS
Well almost. Around 70% of our meals have been carefully planned to drop the meat to help with our CO2 contributions. We're confidant you won't tell the difference and we challenge you not to be blown away by some of our delicious vege dishes.
OFFSETTING YOUR FLIGHTS CARBON
Taking the flight, unfortunately, is the biggest part of adding carbon into the atmosphere when going on holiday. At the moment there are some great initiatives to offset this carbon. These are the companies we recommend making a donation to if you're in a position to do so.
It's not all bad news, hydrogen-powered flights are on the way and estimates predict that by 2035, many short hall flights will be powered by hydrogen with a waste product of just water. Follow the link to find out more about this next step in aviation.
